About Me

My name is Abby Sheneman, and I am a licensed therapist based in Allentown, PA. It is my honor to guide you through life’s most complex and challenging issues. I genuinely care about my clients’ well-being and am committed to providing top-quality therapeutic services tailored to their individual needs. I hold clinical licensure in the state of Pennsylvania and am a certified professional in clinical trauma and sex therapy. I have worked and consulted internationally, both individually and in multidisciplinary teams.

I earned a Doctor of Psychology in Grief Counseling from American International Theism University, a Master of Social Work, and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Temple University. Additionally, I serve as an adjunct professor at Southern New Hampshire University and was recently honored as a listee in the Marquis Who's Who of 2025, celebrating their 125th anniversary (http://www.24-7pressrelease.com/press-release-service/529501).

Since 2013, I have been dedicated to providing specialized therapeutic services to individuals facing difficult life experiences. My unwavering commitment to my clients' well-being is reflected in my willingness to go above and beyond to help them overcome their challenges. I have extensive experience assisting people through various life transitions, ranging from childhood to adulthood. My work includes mobile therapy, cancer support, medical social work, private and group practice, education in meditative and mindfulness practices, divorce and family mediation, and domestic relations. I am certified in trauma and sex therapy, and I am also trained in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy.

 

My training, personal experiences, passion, and drive enable me to collaborate effectively with my clients, guiding them through the changes they wish to make and helping them evolve into their most authentic selves.
